An Apology and a Redirection

First of all, I'm sorry. I'm a bad Deviant. I have not spent time on DA for many months. There are reasons for this, but they are not dramatic and exciting ones, and perhaps they won't be satisfactory. Nonetheless...

I'm taking photography more seriously this year, spending a lot of time learning and shooting and much, much less time playing around online. You wouldn't know I'm still into photography if you looked at my profile, it is true, but my photography has gotten better, I hope, since my last posting here, although I have not gone to any location so amazing as Iceland or Israel in 2012. This will change...I am returning to Iceland soon, and will take many, many photos there!

Where have I been? I have discovered Google Plus to be an amazing social media site for photographers. Seriously, it's the best place on the internet to interact with the leading professionals in all styles of photography. I have nothing against DA and especially not against the people here, but I have found Google Plus to be an exceptional network in which to hang out with photographers, share information, be inspired and grow, photographically. I didn't mean to stop using DA, but it happened...and in that time I found G+.

Unfortunately I haven't had time for both networks, or indeed really even one...so I've been spending what little time I have at Google Plus. That is where my newest photos are posted. It's where I "hang-out" now.

I am sincerely thankful for all of the faves and watches (and am so sorry the watching was futile). You guys are great!
